I remember how the arrangement of the popular jazz ballad Body and soul came to be. I spent an entire afternoon at a lovely meadow near the village of Zheleznitza in my most favorite mountain of Vitosha, near my hometown Sofia. I was playing around with the intro chords for hours, repeating them over and over. I was trying to picture how the whole arrangement of the song would work as a jazz cha-cha. But the melody got its own shape and ended up sounding just the way I hear it. The final chords and the dubstep outro part were composed while I was chilling out alone with my travel guitar at the main square of Rurrenabaque in the Pampas (wetlands) region of Bolivia.
