Summit fever is a very special song. It was the seed that began the whole project in the summer of 2013. I had just returned from a successful climb of Mont Blanc in the French Alps with a strong charge of inspiration that lasted for the next weeks. The melody was my way of expressing the feeling of being on the way to a high-altitude peak and having to overcome the cold, the lack of oxygen and the physical pain in order to be "allowed" to step for a few seconds on the top of the mountain. The endless views, the fresh or sometimes freezing wind in your face and the excitement and adrenaline that fill your every cell are the reward that makes me feel alive and free.
